Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the game Untamed (“the Game”, “we”, “us”) collects when you play, how it is used, and the choices you have. By playing the Game you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Game progress and settings
The Game stores your progress and preferences (such as your inventory, world state, and audio settings) so you can continue where you left off. This is saved:
- Locally on your device using your browser’s local storage, and/or
- Via the platform’s cloud-save feature (for example the CrazyGames Data Module) when you are signed in to that platform. In that case the save data is stored and synced by the platform, not by us.
Co-op multiplayer data
If you play online co-op, the Game connects to a real-time service (Supabase) to let you and other players share a session. During a co-op session we process:
- A randomly generated guest ID stored on your device to keep a stable identity between sessions, or an anonymous player token provided by the platform when you are signed in there;
- In-game state such as your character’s position, movement, and actions, which is broadcast in real time to the other player(s) in your room so the shared world stays in sync.
This co-op data is transient: it is relayed live to your session partner and is not used to build a profile of you.
Information we do not collect
- We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details.
- Any account sign-in is handled entirely by the platform you play on (e.g. CrazyGames); we never see or store your platform password.
2. How We Use Information
- To save and restore your game progress and settings.
- To enable and synchronize online co-op sessions.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Game.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
3. Third-Party Services
The Game relies on the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- CrazyGames — hosting platform, optional account sign-in, and cloud saves. See CrazyGames’ privacy policy for how they handle your data.
- Supabase — real-time infrastructure used to relay online co-op sessions.
When the Game is embedded on a platform, that platform may also collect data (for example for analytics or advertising) as described in its own policy. We do not control that processing.
4. Local Storage
The Game uses your browser’s local storage (not tracking cookies) to keep your save data, guest ID, and settings on your device. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings; doing so will remove your locally stored progress.
5. Data Retention
Locally stored data remains on your device until you clear it. Cloud saves are retained by the platform according to its policies. Co-op session data is processed only for the duration of the live session and is not permanently stored by us.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Game is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect names, emails, or contact details, no personal identifying information is gathered from any player directly by us.
7. Your Choices
- You can play the single-player experience without joining any online session.
- You can clear local storage to remove your on-device progress and guest ID.
- You can manage platform account and cloud-save data through your platform account settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued play after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
